Dear colleagues,
We proudly announce that the 6th International Conference on Petroleum Phase Behaviour & Fouling will be held at the Barbizon Palace Hotel in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from June 19th -23rd, 2005.
The 6th edition of this successful Conference will provide a forum for scientists and technologists dealing with the day-to-day problems in the petroleum industry and others interested in the chemistry and physics of petroleum, from downhole to the finished products. The following topics are currently envisaged:
- Characterisation of Petroleum Macromolecules
- Wax Thermodynamics and Deposition
- Chemistry and Physics of Petroleum-Water Emulsions
- Thermodynamics of Heavy Oils and Asphaltenes
- Mechanisms and Mitigation of Fouling in Refining
- Mechanisms and Mitigation of Fouling in Production
- Heavy Oil Utilisation
The Conference will be held in the characteristic old centre of Amsterdam, a stone's throw away from the Central Station. The main meetings will take place in the renovated St. Olof chapel, built in 1440 and one of the oldest remaining buildings in Amsterdam. You are cordially invited to enter this date in your calendar and contemplate bringing a presentation or poster to this Conference.
